North Yorkshire Moors

The North Yorkshire Moors (also known as the North York Moors) is a national park in North Yorkshire, England.

The moors are one of the largest expanses of heather moorland in the United Kingdom. It covers an area of 1,436 km² (554 square miles), and it has a population of about 25,000.

The North Yorkshire Msoors became a National Park in 1952.
